DOH-Brevard Provides Free or Low-Cost Breast Cancer Screenings

Viera, Fla. — The Florida Department of Health in Brevard County (DOH-Brevard) will host the 3D Mobile Mammography bus to provide free or low-cost mammograms to women in the community on Wednesday, June 26, 2024, from 8 a.m. – 4 p.m. at the following location:

2555 Judge Fran Jamieson Way
Viera, FL 32940

Eligibility for Free Mammogram Screenings
Must meet each of the four criteria below:
  1. Women ages 50-64
    1. Women ages 40-49 with a parent, sister, brother, or child that’s had breast cancer.
  2. Have a household income that is less than or equal to 200 percent of the poverty level.
  3. Have no health insurance to cover the cost of clinical breast exams, mammogram, or Pap smear.
  4. Primary residence is in Florida.

The Florida Department of Health provides access to free or low-cost breast cancer screenings statewide to women who are uninsured or underinsured, have a low income, and meet the program eligibility requirements.
