COVID-19 Call Center

COVID-19 Bivalent Booster Vaccines Available at Viera Clinic

COVID-19 bivalent booster vaccines are available on a walk in basis Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday from 8:30AM – 4PM. Please note the COVID-19 bivalent booster is not available on Thursdays.

As of August 31, 2022, monovalent mRNA COVID-19 vaccines (Moderna and Pfizer) are NO LONGER authorized for use as boosters in people ages 12 years and older.

On Wednesday August 31, 2022, the United States Food and Drug Administration (FDA) granted approval under emergency use authorization (EUA) for both Moderna and Pfizer-BioNTech bivalent COVID-19 boosters and the CDC has endorsed the Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP) votes to recommend the bivalent boosters.

Eligibility requirements

  • At least two months since
    • Completion of a primary vaccination series OR
    • The most recent booster dose with any authorized or approved monovalent COVID-19 vaccine
  • Pfizer
    • Ages 12 and up
  • Moderna
    • Ages 18 and up
The Florida Department of Health in Brevard County is offering both Moderna and Pfizer bivalent vaccines for those who meet the above eligibility requirements at the Viera Clinic.

Bring a completed consent form to the appointment for faster service. Children must be accompanied by a parent / guardian. Please bring your vaccine card or proof of previous vaccinations.

COVID-19 Vaccines (Primary Series)

The Moderna, Pfizer (adult and pediatric), and Janssen (Johnson and Johnson) COVID-19 primary series vaccines are offered, based on availability, Monday – Friday from 8AM to 4PM at the Viera, Melbourne, and Titusville clinics. No appointment necessary (for primary series only).
