The Florida Department of Health in Brevard County's Sexually Transmitted Diseases Department is responsible for the control of STD's, mainly HIV, syphilis, gonorrhea, and chlamydia, through the utilization of investigative techniques.    

Services are provided in the Titusville, Viera, and Melbourne Clinic locations, Monday through Friday 8 a.m.-4 p.m., by appointment only.

Health Education and Risk Reduction Program

This free program provides information on sexually transmitted infections (STIs), including HIV/AIDS. It is a graphic presentation that shows signs and symptoms of a variety of diseases. Other discussion topics include counseling and testing procedures, as well as safer sex practices. Recommended for teenagers, parents and single groups. Also recommended for organizations that have a genuine interest in the HIV/AIDS dilemma.
