The Florida Department of Health in Brevard County (DOH-Brevard) offers immunizations for all ages through our three clinic sites in Titusville, Viera, and Melbourne on a walk-in basis Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. - 4 p.m.
For immunizations, please bring a government-issued photo ID and all immunizations and travel records. A parent, guardian, or individual who has power of attorney for medical consent must accompany anyone under age 18. A stepparent, grandparent, adult sibling of the minor, or an aunt or an uncle can bring a minor child in for immunizations if he or she has written consent from the parent, legal guardian, or individual with power of attorney for medical consent.
Remember to advise the nurse of pregnancy, allergies, or any adverse reactions to medical or immunization procedures.
We offer immunizations that protect against the following immunization-preventable diseases:
- Diphtheria
- Haemophilus Influenza Type B
- Hepatitis A and B
- Human Papillomavirus (HPV)
- Measles
- Meningitis
- Mumps
- Pertussis
- Pneumonia
- Polio
- Rabies Pre-Exposure
- Rabies Post-Exposure (must first contact Epidemiology at 321-454-7101)
- Rotavirus
- Rubella
- Tetanus
- Varicella (Chickenpox)
Adult Immunizations
For a fee, DOH-Brevard offers travel and other adult immunizations. For information on adult or travel immunizations, please call our Adult Immunization Nurse at 321-634-6337 option 2.
