The Florida Department of Health in Brevard County (DOH-Brevard) provides preventative dental services to children that meet the following criteria:
- Children ages 0 to 20 with DentaQuest, FL Healthy Kids (Liberty, DentaQuest and MCNA), or Liberty
- Children who are 20 years old and under and do not have insurance can be seen through our Affordable Dental Program.
- Clients accompanied by individuals other than a parent or legal guardian must present notarized paperwork to their appointment.
Services are available at our main office in Viera, by appointment only, and includes examinations, x-rays, oral hygiene instruction, fillings, extractions, preventative, restorative, emergencies, and palliative treatment.
Dental Sealant Program
The School-Based Dental Sealant Program provides free sealants to children, after parental consent, in Title 1 elementary schools in second and sixth grades.
